On the 8th of September, 2023, a team from the Gaudete Institute (TGI), made up of Prof. Marian Asantewah Nkansah, the Executive Director, Ms. Patricia Nkansah, and the Executive Secretary, Charlotte Asiamah, a volunteer, donated 50 backpacks filled with supplies to Pupils of the Weweso MA Primary B, Kumasi. This gesture was prompted by an earlier visit to the school by Ms. Patricia Nkansah on behalf of the team, Prof. Nkansah gave a brief background on the essence of TGI and encouraged the pupils to study hard and stay in school. The headmistress, Mrs. Gloria Payne, who assisted in the distribution of backpacks, thanked TGI for the donation. The Gaudete Institute is an NGO that is focused on serving the needs of the underserved.
